Is there a fundraising minimum? There is no fundraising minimum. However, support is vital for City of Hope to continue offering the best care and complementary therapies — such as yoga and meditation — to patients, researching less toxic treatments and seeking a cure for cancer. Your donation can impact people in in your backyard and across the globe who are benefiting from the innovative medical research that takes place at City of Hope.

Will there be rest breaks in between? We encourage you to listen to your body and stop and rest at any time.

Is the event suitable for a beginner? Yes, the event is perfect for all skill levels. Modifications will be demonstrated for each pose. We encourage you to listen to your body and stop and rest at any time.

Will mats be provided? No. Please plan to bring your personal mat.

Will there be storage for personal belongings? We will not have a separate storage location for your personal belongings. Yoga for Hope and City of Hope are not responsible for any participant belongings.

Will water be available? Yes! We will have water available. (Please remember to bring your water bottle).

What is the roll of a Team Captain? Team leaders or captains are responsible for forming and inspiring a group of like-minded friends or family members to optimize Yoga for Hope participation and fundraising. Fundraising can be as simple as sending out emails to family or friends or as fun as organizing yoga donation classes or team happy hours.

What if I don't wish to register online? No problem. Just contact at or to register. Registration will also be available at the event. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted.
