Welcome to My Personal Fundraising Page
Last April I had the privilege of participating in Walk for Hope to honor my mother, Grace, who lost her battle to Uterine Sarcoma about 18 months ago. It was a very healing experience for me. Our team, Team Lady Grace, was chosen by City of Hope to represent the City of Remembrance to acknowledge all the brave women who fought so hard to beat their diseases. And though they are gone they are never forgotten. Not a day goes by that I don't think about my mom. She was the most kind and selfless person I've ever known and our family was her proudest achievement. I miss her more than any words can ever convey but she will always live on in our family, our memories, and, most importantly, our hearts. I joined Walk for Hope again this year because I want to make a difference in the fight against women's cancers. More than 275,000 women will be diagnosed with breast or a gynecological cancer this year. More than 25% of those women will die from these diseases. I want to save these women. I want to help City of Hope researchers find cures. Walk for Hope will take place across the country with one mission - curing women's cancers. Walk for Hope is more than a fundraising walk -- it is a movement. More than 20,000 women and men will come together this year from coast to coast to raise funds for this movement. Please help me honor my mother and support City of Hope's work. Small donations add up to make a big difference. Please hit the big "Donate" button -- you can't miss it -- and make a tax-deductible donation today. It's that easy and it's that important. I'm in. Are you?
