2013 Resource Racers

2013 marks the fifth anniversary of the Resource Racers team and we are raising $500,000 to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the Sheri & Les Biller Patient and Family Resource Center and the 100th anniversary of City of Hope.

Your donation to a Racer will directly benefit the patients, caregivers and family members who utilize the Resource Center's services every day. Additionally, the Center is a lifeline for thousands of patients and families across the United States who never even walk through the doors of the facility in Duarte, but are able to have their phone and e-mail inquiries answered by the Resource Center staff.

Every month, more than 1,000 individuals benefit from the Center’s supportive care offerings whether through psychological counseling, a visit to the Positive Image Center or the multitude of educational resources. Here they will find patient navigators, pain and palliative care physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, spiritual care chaplains, healing arts workshops, peer support groups, health information, complementary medicine, nutrition education and much more. Staff members work one-on-one and in groups with patients and their loved ones, focusing on strengths, resilience and hope.

City of Hope strives to make the Sheri & Les Biller Patient and Family Resource Center an international model of compassionate care. Thank you in advance for generosity, which will help us achieve this.
