Together, let’s get one step closer to a world without cancer.

When you step up to raise funds for Together4Hope, you help City of Hope shorten the time it takes to get from bold, innovative ideas to powerful new treatments for cancer.

On Saturday, September 15, members of the Antelope Valley community will unite in the fight against cancer at Together4Hope. Bring your family and friends and join us for a 2K/5K walk/run at the Palmdale Amphitheater for an unforgettable day, in partnership with City of Hope | Antelope Valley!

City of Hope is leading the fight against life threatening diseases such as cancer through research, treatment and education – and we need your help! Become a Hero for Hope and get the official Together4Hope T-shirt by raising at least $100, or push yourself to be a Champion for Hope by raising $1,000 or more, and be part of the mission to save more lives. We are counting on you to join us in raising $100,000 toward the fight against cancer!

BREAST CANCER IS NO MATCH FOR THIS MARATHON RUNNER - Jackie Solano’s story

For sisters Jackie and Karla Solano, running is a family affair.

“We have always been close sisters,” said Karla. “We’ve had that relationship since we were kids. We started the running thing because my aunt, who passed away from leukemia, always wanted to do the L.A. Marathon but she never got to do it.

“We would talk about it and eventually we decided, you know what? Let’s just sign up for it. Let’s just go for it. We had no training. We really just went in blind and jumped right in and it was sink or swim.”
